- We can hold any horse with a $200 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit that is valid for 5 days to give you time to make arrangements to move the horse from the premises. The balance will be due at the time of pickup/delivery.
We strive to bring you horses that have the potential to go on and be whatever you want to make them. We are committed to buying horses that are sound and conformationally able to perform at a reasonable level. We try our best to represent the horses fairly and for what they are. We do NOT drug them to mask soundness issues and/or broncy/flighty tendencies. We believe there’s a buyer for every horse, and we will always show you what they are.
We buy both privately and from a public auction. There is no way for us to quarantine horses. Due to the amount of in-and-out traffic, it is simply not practical or possible. If you are worried about your horse catching the sniffles, we strongly recommend quarantining your new horse when he arrives at your place. Project horses are usually not UTD on everything, which helps keep the horses affordable. If you wish to have them UTD before leaving us, we can do that for a cost.
We do deliver within a couple hours of the barn for $2 a loaded mile. This is subject to change due to the fluctuations in fuel prices, but as a general rule, that is what to expect. If you live some distance away, we can help arrange shipping with a hauler we trust.
Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and valid for 5 days. After that, if you haven’t made the necessary arrangements to pick up the horse, we may need to sell the horse. We will always try to work with you, and communication is key, but we cannot feed and keep horses indefinitely. Deposits are meant to hold your place until you can get there to pick up the horse, but if you are not ready to buy for a month, please wait to begin shopping until you are ready.
